Newport Night Run

We annually partner with Gray Matter Marketing to present the Newport Night Run, the area’s only after-hours road race. The course starts and finishes at Rogers High School and showcases some of Newport’s most beautiful rural roads, including parts of Ocean Avenue and Hazard Road.
Since its inception in 2014, the event has raised more than $150,000 for the Newport Public Education Foundation. Dozens of local businesses, community partners and individuals sponsor the Newport Night Run each year. 100% of all sponsorships go directly to the foundation, and community support is vital to our success.
An Evening for Education

Held annually in the fall, An Evening for Education, a celebration and fundraiser presented by the Bazarsky Family Foundation, honors the recipients of the Noreen Stonor Drexel Education Awards and the Newport Public Schools teacher of the year. An Evening for Education gathers parents, educators and friends to learn more about how our mission directly and positively impacts the students of Newport’s public schools.
