Purchase your raffle tickets for the chance to win an escorted visit to the top of the Newport Bridge, 400 feet above sea level. The winner and a guest will enjoy unparalleled views all the way to Martha’s Vineyard during this unforgettable experience.

Raffle tickets are $20 each or three for $50. Only 500 tickets will be sold! All proceeds benefit the Newport Public Education Foundation, which empowers teachers, administrators and community partners to provide enriching educational experiences for the students of Newport’s public schools.

* In-person – visit our table at the Aquidneck Growers Market: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 19 at Pell Elementary School. The winning ticket will be drawn at 1 p.m.

In addition to the escorted visit, the prize package includes two hard hats, two high-visibility vests, two commemorative coins, two magnets, a DVD of the Rhode Island PBS original documentary “The Newport Bridge: A Rhode Island Icon” and a copy of James Ricci’s “The Newport Bridge.”

Save the date for our 2021 Fall Friend-Raiser, an evening social hosted by the Newport Public Education Foundation. We are so excited for a return to in-person events. Please plan to join us Friday, Sept. 24 at Sail Newport as we honor the 2021 recipients of the Noreen Stonor Drexel Education Awards.

Savor the sunset as you meet and mingle with fellow Newport Public Schools parents, teachers and friends. Enjoy stunning harbor views from Sail Newport’s Mid-Park Marine Education and Recreation Center, and learn more about how the foundation directly and positively impacts the students of Newport Public Schools.
